Today the 8th graders became the teacher for the morning.  The Kindergarten children had Miss Cicirello as their teacher.  Some of the children had an interesting pronunciation of her name- it sounded like Miss Cinderella.

In the first 7 pictures, the children are working together.  They are taking turns reading the sentences and then deciding if the sentence is true or false-if the sentence is true,-they draw a smiley face and if the sentence is false, they draw a sad face.

In these pictures the children went on an "egg hunt" on which paper eggs had words on them in preparation for the reading the story "The Egg Hunt."
Each child found 3 eggs and then we sat in a circle so each child could read the words he/she found. Mr. Quinlan hid some of the eggs very well.  The children had fun.

This week the children painted a shamrock using 3 different shades of green.  We used a green pepper to make prints on top of the painted shamrocks.  The shamrocks look great!
